MushroomCheck

About

A safety-first mushroom identification assistant

MushroomCheck helps foragers and cooks photograph a mushroom and read a structured report: common name, scientific name, confidence, and a risk level.

The report can say deadly, poisonous, poisonous but edible after processing, caution, edible, or uncertain. A mushroom that needs special cooking is never labeled as simply edible.

The result is decision support. It is not a mycologist, and it is not permission to eat a wild mushroom you have not checked yourself.
